Eating Disorder Dietitian

Gabriela is an experienced dietitian with a particular interest in eating disorders and disordered eating, women’s health and sports nutrition. She is passionate about supporting people to build a more positive and trusting relationship with food, while working towards nutrition and health goals that are meaningful to them.

Gabriela works with eating disorder clients of all ages and across all diagnoses, providing individualised nutrition support that recognises that every person’s experience with food and recovery is different. She also enjoys working with women across different life stages, as well as supporting active individuals to adequately fuel their bodies and feel confident in their nutrition.

Gabriela takes a compassionate, whole-person, non-diet and weight-inclusive approach. She works collaboratively with her clients, meeting them where they are at and providing practical, individualised support that feels realistic and sustainable in everyday life.

Gabriela specialises in the following areas of practice;

  • Eating Disorders/disordered eating; including AN, AAN, BN, BED, ARFID and body image concerns*

  • Women’s Health; Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis, Peri-menopause/ Menopause

  • Sports nutrition; Supporting proper fuelling for different sports/training, and injury recovery.

Gabriela works with all ages.

*Please note, that we do not see acutely medically compromised clients who are currently requiring inpatient admissions or tertiary hospital ED programs. Once discharged, Gabriela is here to help you continue the recovery journey in the community.
